Are you looking to gain a better understanding of power quality disturbances such as harmonic distortion and their potential causes? If so, the Introduction to Power

Power Quality Seminar at PFMA

Quality Seminar at the PFMA Expo 2023 State fair park in West Allis WI on March 15 and 16 is the perfect event for you! Form Number 12:

Sign-up at PFMA Website

This 4-hour course is applicable to electrical industry professionals serving either industrial or commercial environments. It is designed to provide attendees with a meaningful understanding of various types of power quality disturbances, their causes and methods for solving or preventing them. Participants should have an understanding of basic electrical principles such as Ohms law, power, electrical metering, motors, and general electrical equipment and systems as well as a working knowledge of basic algebra.

The seminar will be taught by experienced professionals who specialize in electrical engineering and understand the diverse challenges associated with maintaining optimal power quality levels. During this course, participants will learn how to detect and mitigate power problems using proper testing techniques; gain insight into methods for troubleshooting common harmonics issues; understand industry regulations related to power quality; plus learn about the latest technologies used for monitoring and controlling voltage instability in networks.

(4 PDH) Approved by the State of Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS) 4 Credit Hours.
